Can we make this a sticky as the offers are reported? According to "Verbal Commits" we have made 9 offers for 2021 verbalcommits.com/schools/st-bonaventureThere is 6'4" SG/PG at Seton Catholic in Binghamton who has been dominant for the 9-1 Saints. This is the school that 2012 walk on Danny Farrell came from. BRETT RUMPEL is a scoring machine as a junior. 35 ppg, 55% FGs, 3.8 assists, 3.8 steals and 1.5 blocks. He has offers from Monmouth and Binghamton University. I know his cousin, Natalie Rumpel, was Bona #1 singles player on the tennis team graduating in 2004. BRETT will get plenty of offers as he finishes his junior year. I expect we will keep an eye on him as will the many Bingo Bona grads.

I have seen him play several times and the kid is fantastic. Would love to see him don the Brown and White one day. Best prospect to come out of the Binghamton area in many years. Extremely quick with great handles and jumps out of the gym. I expect that he is on Coach Schmidt's radar.

Last great Binghamton player was King Rice; easy to see why Monmouth is on him

Update on high scoring BRETT RUMPEL Brett Rumpel a 6'4" junior at Seton Central HS in Binghamton. I heard of him from a BINGO Bona grad & his cousin Natalie Rumple who attended Bona with my daughter. Natalie also attended Seton and was the #1 singles tennis player at Bona 2000-04, same class as Marques Green. Her sister also attended Bona. Brett's family knows Bona well BRETT is the #11 scorer in the NATION @ 34.5 ppg. Graduates 2021. This past Tues, March 4th, he scored 42 to win the Sect 2, Class B semifinal game over Onieonta 74-73. Over 21 games this season: 34.5 ppg, 54% FGs, 30% TREYS, 74% FTs, 9.6 rebs, 4 steals, 1.7 blocks. He graduates 2012. He has offers from Monmouth and Binghamton. King Rice went to see him play before Christmas and offered on the spot. He is a junior who I expect will get lots of offers. I have not seen him play but BONA82.5 is the 2nd person to report he is something to see. His #s speak for themselves on a team he has little help. He does it all. jeffersoncountyalerts.com/2019/12/11/brett-rumpel-12-sports-athlete-of-the-week/

SETON CATHOLIC Junior BRETT RUMPLE poured in 45 points in a Section IV Title game victory over Norwich on Sunday 3/8. He continues to impress and lead this young group of sharpshooters into the New York State HS Playoffs.

BO2....Thanks for posting Brett's video. His exposure in AAU this summer may be seriously curtailed.
REMINDER
BRETT is the #11 scorer in the NATION @ 34.5 ppg.
March 4th, he scored 42 to win the Sect 2, Class B semifinal game over Onieonta 74-73. He clearly carries the team.

His cousin, Natalie Rumple (Bona Womens #1 Singles 2004), is very proud

His cousin, Natalie Rumple (Bona Womens #1 Singles 2004), is very proud Anyone know how he did last summer during AAU season? Curious how he performed against similar skilled competition. A tremendous southern tier player, there's no doubt about that however I just don't see an A10 athlete/player. I think a Monmouth or a Binghamton would be a great spot for him to land. We have to realize he's just not going to blow by players at any level of college basketball. His athleticism will be inferior. His shot is slow and low. He pushes off constantly trying to create space...not going to happen at the next level. And...he talks EVERYTIME he makes a play - I love fire, but at some point you just need to get back and play defense. He reminds me a lot of Tyler Bertram out of Cooperstown who went prep school for his senior year...decided to go to Charlotte, redshirted first year and now is looking to transfer after his redshirt freshman year where he played sparingly. Probably looking at an America East or MAAC school.
