I saw on Twitter that we had offered Markus IIver, 6'8", 2021 pg, from Estonia, I thought he was prepping in the states, but I'm not sure. He looks to have some association with the FiBA/NBA program. More of what I don't know for now.

Seeing if anybody knows.
I saw that George Masons and St Bonaventure have offered sf Markus IIver, 6β8β shooter from Estonia, prepping in the US. I had worked in International admissions in another life an d sometimes what a student has completed abroad can be considered as equivalent to our high school diploma. This might be wishful thinking on my part. I saw in verbal commits that Markus was listed as 2021. It could be coincidence that we offer the same day as Rob Caerpenter leaves. I guess my thought process was in lieu of a wide body pf, one of our expresses needs is a shooter, which apparently this young man is. So my question is there anything that indicates that Markus is trying to reclassify as a 2020 candidate?

If Marcus has graduated in Europe, why not offer him as a 2020 class member. He would be the ideal redshirt candidate to bulk up and learn Mark's system. Probably what we should have done with Carpenter.Plus we start to balance the roster.

The reason I suggested R.S. is his age. He is very young. He still can shoot it!!

Probably what we should have done with Carpenter.Plus we start to balance the roster. The old redshirt the kid strategy......used to be a perfect strategy.....now he sits 1, plays 2, then transfers....either as a smart kid who graduates in 3, or transfers under the new rules, thus somebody else gets his best 2 years. I just don't like the new rules that will be implemented.

We'll be lucky if he chooses Bonas π I will "bet the farm" these will not be JACORI's only two offers. BTW, it seems like an exceptional amount of '21 recruits have committed to schools already, more than usual this early.

He has been offered by Elon, Mount St. Mary's, Youngstown State and UNC-Greensboro.
