I enjoyed listening to Matt Martucci and Joe Linardi on the broadcast tonight. Martucci was singing the praises of the Bonnies all night, remember he's been paired with Dr G on a number of Bonnie games this year. I think this may have been the first time Linardi has seen us play and he also had great things to say. One, he mentioned that NBA scouts will not only be looking at Osun but also Kyle. But in a discussion on potential A-10 at-larges, after being prompted by Martucci, he said if the Bonnies finish second in the league, they will absolutely be in the discussion. Love him or hate him, people listen to Linardi. We keep winning, we will be in the discussion. Rhody still has games with Dayton and St Louis and are at Davidson and UMass. I see a couple of losses there. An at-large is not a pipe dream.

An at-large is not a pipe dream. Yes it is. For one you are just assuming we finish the season on a 13 game win streak before a loss in the finals. Most people would consider having to win 13 games in a row a bit of a pipe dream. On top of that we have I think 4 Q3/4 losses. I just donβt see our NET ranking jumping 60 or so spots even with 13 Wβs. Get me the 3 seed and letβs see what happens.

Wednesday results make Saturdays game even more important as chance for a top 4 finish or post season increase greatly with a win. Our only win so far against top 8 A-10 teams was our win at Dukes. A loss leaves little or no margin for error in remains games. Our remaining (after Richmond) games against top 8 teams is home vs Dukes and road vs St. Louis.

Rhode Island could lose 3 more games, giving Bona an opening, if the Bonnies beat the Ticks this Saturday.

What happens if Bonaventure and Duquesne finish tied for 4th?

to quote Scooby Doo, "Ruh Roh". A formerly clear path is now treacherous.

losing the double bye sucks, no doubt, as it makes it more difficult to win the whole thing. But- just from a single game standpoint, won't it help a little bit against St. Louis to have that Thursday night game, assuming we win of course.
Our guys get a game to get acclimated to the Barclays arena and put some shots in the basket, while St. Lou doesn't, maybe they come out cold.

1. Get back to playing like we can on Thursday night. 2. Saint Louis isn't exactly an offensive juggernaut. Much more key is for us to rebound and to get into some offensive flow and rythym to mitigate their defensive pressure and physicality. 3. Pray the force isn't with Obi and Dayton looks ahead to the Great Galactic War 4. Anything goes on Sunday

Maybe if the BONNIES play the BILLIKENS again, this time on a neutral court, some of those carries will get called on St. Louis.

Apparently official just now: Atlantic 10 has selected Richmond AND VCU to host i2021 conference tournament, a source tells @cbssports. The schools will split hosting duties through the semis, then Richmond will host the title game. Tournament runs March 10-14, with (for now) same bracket format as always.
