For anyone concerned the change in ownership at the Old Library would result in a downgrade in the quality of the restaurant or BnB, don't be. After staying there the night of the Richmond game, I can report that under new ownership and with the obvious help of a NYS/local grant, things are looking very positive there. So far, the majority of the work has been to the restaurant/bar and the exterior of the BnB, and both look great. In a post-game glow, the wife and I and 4 others went to the bar. It looks great (fantastic really), including the appearance of not only the facility, but the staff, all presenting the vibe of a 1920s or 30s speak-easy. The drink selections are unique, with the throwback theme and while we did not eat, the bar menu is varied and intriguing. At the BnB, much of the always friendly and helpful staff has been retained and they are clearly enthused about the planned upcoming improvements to the facility.
