You called it 08. Only quadrant wins/losses and NET matter to the NCAA committee. And just watch how few mid-majors get in as at-larges. P6 leads the pecking order, and deserving mid-major conferences like the A10, the Valley, and Mountain West get the crumbs.

Frankly, RPI is best abbreviated for Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York, where many of our best and brightest engineers emanate from. Damn good D1 hockey school.
