From St. Josephs, freshman Chereef Knox who we once offered......I am sure we are not interested, another 6'5" wing plus the 2 year rule of the A10. I wonder what will happen with the 2 year rule as the total transfer criteria changes.

If possible can we contain the transfer talk to this thread?
Also what is going on with Wichita St.? It seems like every day another kid is leaving the program. One already ended up at UMass which is no surprise because he went to the same prep school that Mitchell played at and their old coach is now on the UMass staff. Nothing funny there...

Stevenson and Burton are huge losses for them. We did recruit Burton coming out of high school. With the way he's played he'll have other P5 options but I'd like to imagine him and Kyle dominating the A10. A guy can dream can't he?

You are right SLAUGHTER, those are big losses for WS. I watched alot of games in their conference this year and several were the SHOCKERS and it seemed like STEVENSON was their "go to guy" on offense. What's going on there causing this rash of transfers?

I will toss up an idea.....the AAC, also called (by me), American Athletic Conglomeration, is not a conference, it is a group of schools with little afinity that had no other place to go....UConn is leaving this crap hole of a conference, so maybe the lack of rivalries could be part of it.

Interesting name that I recall from a couple recruiting cycles ago - Christian Hinckson - who the Bonnies were pretty involved with and ended up at Manhattan. Transferring after 2 years. Avg. 7+pts & 5 boards a game as a Soph. 6-7 shooting guard hit on 45% of 3's. A sit one play two transfer, unless NCAA passes the 1-time transfer rule, which is expected to happen.

We offered CHRISTIAN in April 2017.
CHRISTIAN played with AJ at John Bowne 2016-17 when AJ was a soph. At Bowne he had 16.3 ppg, 12 rebs. After they won the Queens ship AJ went to TPS for 17-19 seasons and CHRISTIAN went to Tilton Prep, post grad. At that time he also had an offer from URI and several lower schools.
His soph year as a Jasper: 29 mpg, 7.2 ppg, 38% FGs, 46% treys, 72% FTs and 5.5 rebs.
Kevin Ross, a 2003 Bona grad, is the Director of Sports Communication and Media Relations at MC

Were the BONNIES' staff ever involved with IAN STEERE? IAN just transferred out of ST. JOHN's after transferring there from N C STATE(red flag?) Like his size 6-9 250. Please just don't go to VC and search his name if you respond.

I doubt any of these guys are even being considered for a spot on next years squad. Why would we want a role player from the MAAC or a guy who has transferred twice in three years? The best way to fill our roster out is to follow Mark's model from previous years. A four year recruit to develop or a JUCO. With the exception of Mobley the transfer players have not worked out. We need a guy that can pick up the load down low so OO can get some help. I am expecting Carpenter to slide into Planutis's role and think he will thrive. In the short time he played I don't remember him roaming around the 3 point line but more around the baseline. Also a guy who can shoot consistently the midrange J and is above average from 3 point range. Mosely and English are two JUCOs that come to mind but I know I'm missing a few. More than anything else I hope these kids all stay safe over the next few months along with the rest of the Bonaventure family.

Former Bonnies recruit Aaron Estrada is transferring from St. Peters after freshman season. MAAC Rookie of the Year, hit game winner as time expired in St. Peters MAAC tourney semi-final game. Good size guard at 6-4, avg. 8+ pts and 2.5 rebs per game.

According to EVANDANIELSTWITTER, ST. BONAVENTURE is one of many schools that has reached out to SACRED HEART transfer CAMERON PARKER, a 6-2 guard.
