Where did Melki go;how did he do? Melkisedek Moreaux transferred to Div 2 Mercyhurst College in Erie. Just went to their Athletics website, he is listed on the 2019/20 roster, but not listed in stats...says he is a red shirt senior. I can assume he did not play but will next year.

It is now Mercyhurst University, only know this because one of the most knowledgeable posters on this board graduated from there.

Did you guys expect Pickett to do as well as he has at Siena ? Melki did not do much with his time at Bona. I see Pickett was thinking about NBA but will return to Siena. No, I did not. However given what many posted about lack of athleticism during his visit scrimmages and seeing him play in Rochester, I did think the MAAC was a good landing spot where he could do very well. Not sure I saw him as conference POY or anything at least this early.

This is more about wishful thinking than anything else. Darnell Brodie a 6’10” 235 lb sophomore from seton hall has recently put his name in the transfer portal. Over the span of two years he did not play much. What was interesting was that he played at Putnam Science He left there to play his senior year back home at Newark east. Something I had mentioned before is that Putnam has a big that has not committed, as far as I can tell. Why not dream.
I would cast another vote for Anthony Roberts. I wondered if our Detroit/Michigan connection would have any impact on attracting Anthony.
One last stir of the pot, any word out of buffalo about Park s John Ase Orogun? Wgt had informed us about Andy Sischo the D2 big playing at Daemen. He was up for D2 player of the year, that I see went to somebody else , but he seemed like an interesting player.

Interesting quote from Roberts on what he is looking for at this point - "Next level player development and a strong fan base". As mentioned in the info above on schools he's considering, I would have to think that criteria puts Bona and Xavier at the forefront.

Not only trouble at URI, but it's everywhere...UMass lost freshman starter Sean East, Duquesne lost Frankie Hughes. This isn't going to stop, especially with the expected one-time transfer rule to pass and go into effect sometime next month. This will OPEN the flood gates even more for transfers......buckle in....

mmbonnie....The day after SISCHO played Senior night he told his coach (a Bona grad) he would return for his senior year. He had been pondering transferring. That's the latest but nothing is set in stone.
