Just thinking out loud. RAPOLAS IVANAUSKAS, a 6'10" 230 lb pf from Colgate, just entered the transfer portal as a grad transfer, 13 peg 7 reg. I remember this guy when he played in the Big Ten from Northwestern two years, I see a lot of Big Ten teams here in Minnesota. I was disappointed in his 3% 27% and ft 61% ugh! That being said I was buoyed of the description of his play vs @cincinnati where he sparked a second half comeback win.
If I ran the world, I'd like to see Abou or Louth, Jeremiah Williams or ruth the nj hs senior or the temple transfer pg Pierre-Louis both pg, Louis transferring after fr year, and the possibility to taking either the young man form Williston State, 6'10' 200 lbs from the UK or a grad transfer see above. To me the priority is Abou or Louth.

Rap grew up down the street from me...good kid from a v good family...did well in prep school. had several injuries at Nwestern...coach there ran out of patience with him...unhealthy situation as their program lost momentum - he pulled the plug...not a banger..typical european big guy...nice shot from 12-18'..probably wouldnt solve the sbu muscle/inside toughness issue.

I see where Aaron Estrada wanted to stay close to home, from New Jersey to Oregon.
and the Pageant Queen (name from the A10 Board) scoops up one of his own, stealing someone he recruited to Rhode Island undercutting his former Assistant.....Tyrese Martin to UConn

The numbers in the portal continue to build. I was surprised, but I don't know the particulars to see Justin Kier's name from George Mason. I know he has battled injuries, but young man was a player. I'm guessing if he's healthy, that he still is. I've seen a couple of guys transfer within their conference and I seem to recall that the A10 has strict rules about that, then I started to think and realized if you're a grad transfer, which some of these players are, even if they are a junior, they may have their degree, in which case the regular transfer rules do not apply. I'm not sure what Coach Schmidt's philosophy is, but it seems like he likes to take kid's from the start if he can, the next best thing being the kid who has three years of eligibility, like Jaren English. Something else I'm wondering at with respect to transferring, if you're coming from a D2 school, do you have to sit for a year. I know it's been stated otherwise here, but I thought we had a kid from Jamestown, via Endinboro St and I thought he was eligible right away.

This confirms what I had thought about the high number of transfers from the A-10:

Interesting, I see Mount Saint Mary's has had 6 transfer out, anyone know what's going on at Wichita State? For a team that at one point thought it could win the national championship, they started out 15-1, it was a slow dissolve with ego/me,me,me instead of us, us.....that clouded the team. There was also a disconnect with the coaching staff,, even though both sides tried to talk and work through it. It just didn’t happen.

I’ heard Kansas grows quite a bit of wheat!🤗 I'm shocked to hear that! I learned in 5th (?) grade that in Kansas, "corn goes to market on the hoof."

I saw that the Temple pg that was transferring Josh Pierre, a one time Bona target had committed to UC Santa Barbara.
The other thing I'm seeing on Twitter is that a number of people are saying that they believe the NCAA is going to approve the one time transfer/play immediately sometime soon and that it will be effective now, so in theory somebody on a roster now who maybe is thinking of transferring, has even more of an impetus to do so. This could really get crazy. If that's indeed the case, there is no sense holding on to that last scholarship. There is definitely going to to movement year to year.

Hold on to a last scholarship is probably not to save for a worthy but more not finding a worthy recruit
Doesn’t 12 player roster save a bunch 💰 in the annual budget than a 13 man roster?
