Pinnum it was a general comment regarding small thinking on arena landlords more or less refusing to negotiate on arena rental fees. To get a top 75 program to schedule Bona's it is my opinion that the game would need to be in Buffalo or Rochester. Maybe we can get the Buffalo power couple to sponsor the game and eliminate the rental fee. I know they are generous so I can dream during this awful time.

I don’t believe the rental fee is the issue... we already book the arenas for games that have less appeal to the masses. The issue is that teams aren’t willing to take the deal. The power conferences stopped agreeing to the Rochester games nearly 15 years ago now. My understanding is that the owners of the arenas want more games and they want bigger names but the teams won’t agree to the games. The Canisius game was moved to KeyBank because they wanted more basketball games.

How does the MWC-A10 Challenge Work for 2021-22? For instance, New Mexico will not becoming to the RC, will they? How will pairings be decided?

I believe that the home teams this season will travel in the 2nd year of the challenge to the teams that play away this season. They however may not necessarily play the same opponent each year.

That is how I understood it. So if you are traveling this coming year, you host the following year. Opponents will probably be adjusted to give the best matchups.

Down the line, the A10 will adopt a 20-game league slate. Give it time. That would leave 9-11 nonco games.
