Bonnies Fans,
First off, we hope that this note finds you and your family well during these uncertain times. Although the men's basketball team's 100th season came to an abrupt end (like many other Division I teams), we wanted to thank you for your support this season.
Everyone's worlds have been turned upside down with the COVID-19 outbreak. Although our campus is prematurely empty, the accomplishments of the year are memories we can all take pride in. Here are just a few from this past season that you helped make possible:
2019-2020 NOTEWORTHY ACCOMPLISHMENTS
2,621 season tickets sold, an increase of 136 seats from the 2018-19 season and almost 300 more than the 2017-18 season.
Average of 4,359 fans per home game, the highest total in 16 seasons.
A sixth straight year of 10 or more conference wins (extending the longest streak in the A-10).
This was the Bonnies’ fifth straight top-five finish in the A-10 standings.
The Bonnies now rank third among all Atlantic 10 programs in number of victories since 2015-16 (104).
Kyle Lofton – named First Team All-Conference, the fifth straight season with at least one Bona player named to the First Team.
The Bonnies now have 18 total First Team All-A-10 selections (including players with multiple selections) which ranks third all-time
among current conference members.
Osun Ossuniyi – named Third Team All-Conference and All-Defensive Team.
Jaren English – named All-Academic Team selection.
St. Bonaventure graduates just one senior, Amadi Ikpeze, after already ranking fourth in the country in scoring from freshmen and sophomores. Underclassman accounted for over 93% of the Bonnies’ scoring this season.
Stay safe and we look forward seeing you in the Reilly Center once life returns to normal next season.
Go Bonnies!
