In recognition of our newest BB Player, and having nothing better to do, I gave this topic some thought. One requirement - your 5 have to be a transfer from a Juco. Here is my Starting Five
Rob Garbade - the first, and probably the best, big man from Juco. Love to have his inside banging ability on this team.
Jonathan Hall - just a terrific player who could fill up the stats sheet
Andelle Cumberbatch - alot of people on this site put him down, but he ended up his senior year averaging double points, while guarding the other team's best player
Eric Mosley - while not a consistent starter, he was a great 3 point and foul shooter who averaged 13 a game his senior year
Marcus Posley - by far the best JUCO. For anyone who did not witness his game in Rochester, it was like a highlight film. He just could not miss a shot. I believe his 47 points were the most in the nation that year. Definitely a player I would love on our team right now - fearless, could shoot and was a good ballhandler. He did not have a problem putting the team on his shoulders.
What is your team?

Adeboye, Posley, Stockard, Hall & Houston KEVIN HOUSTON transferred from MIAMI FLA, not a juco.

depends on who you consider a juco...Houston played 2 years at the juco level, we heavily recruited him, again, he got wowed by the big time offer, went to Miami, then transferred to us, sat a year. So he was a juco, but transferred from a P5.

In response to Dadster's original post. Posely's 47 points that night was the the nations high. Sole possession of that distinction lasted just a few hours or so. Unbelievably, Andrew Andrews (that's right) University of Washington tied his 47 points just hours later. On the very same night!

CHRIS JOHNSON wasnt too shabby either. I LOVED Chris Johnson...He was a BIG part of that NCAA team during that season and players like him, Ndoye, Mosley etc. coming up BIG when called upon are what we NEED on this team for it to blossom the next two years...Hopefully, our newest addition, Jalen Shaw, can be the same type of a piece of a puzzle for these boys...Let's go, Bonas!!!
