Pretty hard to deny a double digit scorer from a winning team in a very respectable conference π
The others just do not have those credentials yet, if 1-2 or more do get to that similar stature we are in a really good place. π

I donβt compare this early. My favorite in preseason has probably turned into my third or fourth each season!

If Adaway is on this list, then Roberts should not be on this list.
While I look forward to some highligh reel dunks from Adaway and Metcalf, I think Shaw has the clearest path to being a contributor this year. Between Osun's injury history and the likelihood that he will have foul trouble from time to time, I can see a lot of minutes available for him. For as much as we're talking about a four-guard offense here, I think we could go big just as much.

My vote would have gone to a 6-8 240+ PF or a back up PG. Hopefully something unexpected happens and METCALF/CARPENTER along with ENGLISH prove me wrong.

This is another solid recruiting season from Schmidt. I love Anthony Roberts signing, but think Jalen Shaw is more important. Jalen offers much needed size at 6'10" 235 pounds. He is 20 pounds heavier than Osun. Jalen's size and toughness underneath was missing from the team last year. Many times last year the Bonnies desperately needed size and toughness in the paint. I'm also really impressed with Jalen's athleticism, blocking ability and solid offensive post game.
I rank them Jalen, Anthony, Eddie and Quintin.
I agree with Agoo, Jalen Adaway does not belong on this list. If we include Adaway, I think it is too close to determine between Adaway and Eddie. Bubbaw is correct it is too early to accurately compare the players. I personally enjoy speculating threads like this as it is fun. I've been wrong a lot more than I would like to admit, but being correct is not the purpose of this thread.

Which one of these can defend the three point shot? The present team members were beaten by 25+ points against the best teams. Defense of the three pointer killed the Bonnies this year. Remember "POW" against La Salle? I'll take the best perimeter defender.

We need the size and toughness that Shaw brings, and Roberts I am hoping for Mobley 2.0, and I am ok waiting a year, as we did with Matt.

I'm going with Metcalf. Have a feeling he is going to be really good.

With including all the players whether or not on the court this season:
"Favorite" would be Metcalf because he's an incoming Freshman and I'll take a 4-year investment over a 2-year investment any day
Who do I think will have the most impactful Bona career - Roberts (With the likelihood of sitting out a year, I can see where he could end up a 2-year starter and impact the team similar to the way an Elijah Hughes impacted SU as a transfer from ECU for a couple years).
Who do I think will have the most impact in the '20-'21 season - Adaway

Hard to Schmidt sitting any of those guys two years down the line

I think he can be an all A10 type of player...can score it, shoot it, defend, has very good size and has high level athleticism. I'm just saying, I wouldn't be surprised if he became a 2-years starter with sitting out this year, he's that type of player.......

Perfect world is that 2 years from now, he wins the 6th man of the year award for the league as we clinch an NCAA Birth, then the next year becomes a first team all league player. Just dreaming.

Based on 23 votes, and our very poor records as Wagoneers on guessing the future (see almost any other poll we have done at the beginning of a season), I think Mr. Creal will be, hands down, the star of the class. (But I did not vote that way)
