If Roberts becomes a starter after sitting out this year does he take take the spot from Welch, English, or Winston. Hard to Schmidt sitting any of those guys two years down the line Roberts is a high performer as he showed down the stretch this past season for a very good MAC team. I think he can be an all A10 type of player...can score it, shoot it, defend, has very good size and has high level athleticism. I'm just saying, I wouldn't be surprised if he became a 2-years starter with sitting out this year, he's that type of player. I remember my reaction to signing of Jaren English. With Dom and Alpha already on the roster, Schmidt signs Matt Johnson, AJ, Adaway and now he is adding a 6th wing? Jaren must be really good, but Bona is his only D-I offer? I'm thinking it doesn't make sense. It turned out that Jaren is really good (2nd leading scorer for A-10 games). Here we are again, except Schmidt is adding a 7th wing this time. Competition is a great motivator. The cliche (the cream rises to the top) fits for the competition at the wing. I'm with JJJacks, it is difficult seeing Robert becoming a starter his first year with Dom and Jaren as entrenched starters. But unlike Jaren, Robert Anthony has impressive credentials. Wing competition will be interesting to watch for the next 2 years.
