While it's not the Bonnies, I thought I would mention that this afternoon, both of the teams that we have played, Akron and Hofstra are playing games on ESPN+ at 2pm Eastern time. The Zips host Ohio, Ohio is supposed to have a pretty good squad, so we'd get a good measure of how good a team Akron has. Likewise, we know what Hofstra has and they will be playing Richmond.

Sorry I missed this but the Bonnie women are playing St John's right now on ESPN3, Bonnies up 21-18 in the second quarter.

SIP, not good for the conference, but Hofstra is no fluke. I double booked this here and on the Akron thread, the Zips beat Ohio U today 90-71, they were on fire from all over.

We may only have 2 non con wins, but they might turn out to be 2 pretty decent wins.
Richmond learned how good Hofstra is today. Their guards combined with Kante make a strong team.

I hope our lack of games doesn’t bite us. We have a possible NCAA TOURNAMENT TEAM and I would hate to see not making it because we played like 16 games
I find it hard to believe we can’t schedule more games in the fly.

Bona closed within one several times but could not get over the hump. Asianae led way w 14, Deja 11, Tori 10. There are some weak league teams Bona can beat. But defeating the likes of Fordham and UD, well...

We dodged a huge bullet against Hofstra by coming back to win that game... you can tell that team has no fear... they will be formidable in the CAA this season.

I doubt the players/staff will return from Christmas covid free. I’m prepared for the RI and Richmond games to be postponed/cancelled.

This whole season, unfortunately, is going to be "touch and go". Can't allow myself to get too high or too low no matter what happens. I just keep telling myself I'm glad COVID didn't wait another year. This is probably our best chance to get to "The Dance" two years in a row but hopefully things can at least get back to somewhat normal at this time next year and we can make the best of it like we did in 2018! The only other thing that scares me is how bad BC does and if they pull Schmidt away from us. As we saw in '69-'70, nothing is guaranteed in life, Bona fans! But HOPE reigns supreme!!

I saw a couple of GW players had but there names in the transfer portal, I didn't recognize the one name, he's a 6'10" 230 C that just transferred in this year I think, but I was more surprised by the second name, Jamir Nelson, jr. From what I had seen of him, I really liked his game, to bad we have the "poison pill" transfer rules within the A10. I noted that he was from Philly and won't have a problem finding a new home, a talented point guard, with a great family lineage.
