The mysterious deaths you speak of would generally increase the numbers of overall deaths during the year, but they did not. No, the mysterious excess deaths I speak of indeed increased the numbers of overall deaths...that's what excess deaths mean by definition. They're in excess of the 5 year average that preceded it. This is coming from the same source that you're apparently citing. Again I have to ask: what are you talking about? www.cdc.gov/nchs/nvss/vsrr/covid19/excess_deaths.htm

Again I have to ask: what are you talking about? www.cdc.gov/nchs/nvss/vsrr/covid19/excess_deaths.htmThe page you reference refers to Covid deaths and uses an algorithm that determines the numbers based on various estimates. I am simply referring to total deaths. The CDC reported total deaths in the US in 2020 at 2,913,300 and change. The death rate in the US has increased every year since 2009 when 2,437,163 people died. During that same period the population has increased every single year, and increased by a total of 22,000,000 from 2009 to 2019. In 2017, total US deaths were 2,813,500, in 2018 the death total was 2,839,200, and in 2019 the total deaths in the US were 2,854,840. So the increase from 2019 to 2020 was approximately 58,500, slightly higher than the average increase year to year, but no where near what one would expect from a global pandemic.

Sir, at this point I'm not sure if you're messing with me or not, and I'm not sure where you got this number from, but your lack of source makes me suspect it was printed on a meme and you were fed bad information. I'd pay you $20 of tomgleason's money if you can find me that source. The CDC, as recently as today, has reported well over 3.35 million observed deaths in 2020: www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/70/wr/mm7014e1.htm?s_cid=mm7014e1_xwww.politico.com/news/2021/03/10/cdc-finds-covid-19-drove-15-percent-spike-in-death-rate-475219Even through September observed deaths were about three hundred thousand in excess of 2019, with a 2% error. As far as excess deaths estimates go, that would more than likely mean that the observed figures are actually higher. These estimates are (were?) projections based off of observed counts reliant on a reporting threshold, and recent weeks are incomplete due to reporting lag time. In other words: if the numbers are off it's because jurisdictions either haven't yet reported or have committed widespread fraudulent reporting.

They should be okay as long as they don't copulate with any humans in the area who are not vaccinated...

Given your apparent willingness to accept CDC stats as a credible way of counting death, what’s their COVID death count? Among healthy college age students? Nearly zero. You have a better chance of being hit by a bus!!!

Hey guys, remember when our school's president was one of 621,000 people to die of covid? Was that a hoax too? Was he actually a Sandy Hook actor? You people are shameless, I hope St. Peter is tracking all of your lies and bullshit that's getting people killed and pushing our healthcare workers to the brink.

There are those that spread the bullshit for fun and/or profit. There are those that have been duped and are now believers. I believe this board has posters from both categories.

Ok - when was the last time you attended Catholic mass? Do you practice Catholic teachings? Do you believe in the sanctity of all human life, including unborn human beings? Do you believe in magisterium of the church? Too brilliant to be a practical Catholic? Have you denounced the violent attacks on Catholic Churches and shrines in the United States and Canada? Of course not, you are now an agnostic. Clean up your own sorry act before you preach the humanist/socialist/communist propaganda line on the China virus, made to order in the Chinese military lab in Wuhan with funding from Dr. Tony Fauci's NIH.

Wow, it is amazing how this website has gone from Bona basketball to all the crazy shit people post here. Can we move to different topics instead of beating this topic to death - (no pun intended)? Folks, we are never going to agree on this topic. Move on!! Dr. DiPerro died from COVID. Most schools are requiring students and staff to wear masks, encouraging them to get vaccinated, etc. This issue is not unique to Bonas.
If you feel the need to post about a topic, here are a few suggestions: when is Bonas bringing back football? How much eligibility does Charles Perry have left?
Finally, I hope when the b-ball season begins only vaccinated people who have proof they have been vaccinated can attend home games in person.
Stay safe. Wear masks, social distance.
