That gazebo/fire pit in front of dev finally looks about finished ,but is still roped off,and not in use .
The project is going on. A yar in progress.roof tiles holdup?

Final:
Took a walk thru campus yesterday.This project looks done ;too tiled ,construction tape removed seating placed,grill available, looks brand new and yet to be used
Walked past new sign area... overlooks new parking area with a long stairway access ...nice industrial installation
Very little sign of life on campus, construction team doing rob-fal roofing , basement of plassman partially gutted...coffee shop closed
Did see one guy entering the library
Campus green and bucolic ,and high end athletic facilities

The gazebo in front of Dev was extensively used during the pre 1972 class reunions last weekend. I am sure that the post 1972 class reunion attendees will also party at this fine shelter. This facility has two direct gas fire pits, and two direct gas grills, and plenty of comfortable ADK style heavy duty chairs.

Many alums availed themselves of this gazebo and opened up their coolers and just hung out.
The gazebo is of heavy duty construction with a tiled roof, consistent with all the other buildings on campus.

The campus needed a hair cut however, Dev quad and other areas were not cut, and the Aramark bartending and dinner food was atrocious as usual. Professional bartending was completely absent. The Skeller was closed for undisclosed "renovations", very puzzling.

Overall the reunion weekend was super, good overall weather, the alum masses at the Chapel were superior, and the Final Four seminar at the Quick Center was fantastic, as was the AD seminars in the Hall of Fame Room, and Dr.Zimmer's address at the Friedsam Memorial Library was very entertaining,  and the comradary of classmates was unmatched.
