Go figure, I've been watching Va Tech, since the Bonnies win, they played well in losing to Duke by 10, but then suddenly disappeared, they managed to get by Notre Dame, but just barely after losing four straight and looking terrible, they could not buy a three. Anyway watching them play NC State tonight, NC State is a bit errartic, but have some talent, the Wolfpack beat Va Tech about a week and a half ago in Blacksburg, the Hoakies looked lethargic, so tonight they open up 17-2 against the Pack, NC State does not score for the first seven and a half minutes of the game.
While we're on the ACC the team I've been routing for Clemson, has had their wheels come off as well.

Well, I guess it's about faith and belief, I gave up on college basketball scoreboard watching for part of my evening when I saw Villanova go on a 12 point run against Marquette. I should have known they'd comeback, I was watching Mr Smith goes to Washington.
Va Tech held on. UNI took on Valpo tonight w/o AJ Green, who was in co vid protocol, they lost Noah Carter, who stepped up and scored 33 in Green's absence, Carter having to leave the game with about four minutes left in regulation, UNI lost 83-80 to Valpo in OT. I still like UNI and Missouri State's chances against Loyola, we'll just have to see.
More than anything else Mr Smith reminded me that the Bonnies are my team and I'm not about to give up on them.
Go Bonnies

Boise State beats Utah State 72-69, UConn beats Bulter 75-56.
UB is supposed to get on the court tomorrow against Kent St and then they have a match up with league leading Ohio U, I believe mid week
More of an interest on my part, but I'm interested to see how Missouri State does against Loyola on Saturday, I still think Missouri Sate and UNI will have something to say about the MVC title.
Marquette plays host to Xavier on Sunday in Milwaukee.

Marquette beat #11 Villanova in Philadelphia 57-54. Nova is not all that this season. Overrated.

UB back on the court beats Kent State 64-51, Canisius wins, Sienna loses.
Related, but not related Ohio U loses at home to Toledo, UB plays Ohio U in Buffalo this week I believe Bulls still definitely in the running for the the MAC.

Watching way to much of our OOC foes. UNI had Drake only to let It slip away. I was right on Missouri State and Mr. Mosley however, no they are not on our schedule, but Mosley dropped 40 on Loyola of Chicago and Missouri State won in Chicago. The MVC IMO is still going to be a four team race.
Further out west, Boise State at San Diego State, co vid pause, 5 games in 11 days, great defense on both sides late urns, but mostly defense. If we thought us vs the Dukes was a rock fight, think again, 42-37 Boise State.

Clemson crushed Pitt yesterday 75-48 in SC, but Clemson looks to be a middle of the pack team in the ACC, with Pitt a bottom feeder.

Marquette beats Xavier in Milwaukee.
Not related because they are not on our schedule but Cleveland St, that have a pretty good team is down at the half to Robert Morris, not saying upset, but this is a crazy year, you can't count on anything.
How do you figure out Memphis this year they are 3-4 in the American Conference and I think a game over .500 with that talent, they are down to Tulsa at the half.

Marquette likely will be Net Top 25 or close tomorrow. They beat Nova and Xavier this week. Good for us!

Just quickly scrolling through the ESPN Scoreboard.
Clemson so close to beating Duke, but loses by 2 in Cameron, maybe the Tigers can pull it together in the ACC and win some games.
UB loses to Toledo, disappointing, but Toledo had just beaten Ohio, the Bulls can redeem themselves on Friday when Ohio U comes to town.
I can't believe I'm saying this but yea, UConn overall DePaul.
Boise State wins again over Wyoming this time, I think that's 13 in a row.
While it's not OOC, I did see that Pitt beat Syracuse tonight, and Georgia who doesn't seem to be able to beat anybody comes back and beats Alabama, who seem to be dropping a number of games lately.
In addition to our game tomorrow night, Marquette heads to Seton Hall.

This feels like for what it's worth right now, but maybe as we get closer to the end of the season, it might mean something. Marquette won yet agin, they've now swept Seton Hall and UNI got back on the win side.
