Siena is owed extended payback. Coppin is an average MEAC tomato can.

For its size, Coppin State has built a pretty solid program - I think I saw them win as a 15 seed in Pittsburgh when we were in our dry spell. One of the few 15 over a 2 wins.

According to JP in today’s OTH, the season opens on November 9 with Siena in the RC for the Franciscan Cup. I am OK with everything about that - early start against quality rival and at home. Even months in advance, it’s good to know the starting date for the upcoming season. The excitement builds.

The Bonnies have no games in New England this season. UMass and URI are home games. Then why play Siena at home? Or why play UMass and URI both at home? Seems the NE people and the NYS Capital Region should have a game nearby. Looks like the closest game will be in Newark. Bottom line is split URI and UMass in future seasons, or play at Siena when both New England teams are home games.

The A10 does not care about New England based Bonnies fans when making the schedule. The Siena game alternates every year. Done.

The northeast first weekend sites are Buffalo and Pittsburgh with the regional the following week in Philly.
