BURU would provide rebounding we need along with an offensive game and overall good skills. He is ranked # 29 JUCO (and he is a Frosh!) and #6 Forward. Impressive Juco Frosh Season 33 mpg, 15.2 ppg, 63% FGs, 29% TREYS (12-31), 69% FTs, 10.2 REBs, 2.9 assists, 1.2 steals, 1.2 blocks, 1.3 A/TO ratio. www.youtube.com/watch?v=kz8IuYu7qIc

Watching the vid, this kid has both size and athletic ability. I like his game as he is very versatile. Besides obvious dunks and put backs, he has an array of shots, 3 balls, off the glass, baby hooks, reverse lay ins. Seems to follow everything and in true PF mold muscles in, over, and around his opponent. I believe he would help us immediately and would be great power combo with Chad.

He looks real good.
I just am imagining the crowd at the RC collectively yelling "BURU" after one of his putback jams to conclude an 8-0 run

Buru Naivalubrua looks like a Bonnie. Hebrew up in western Sydney, Australia and received a scholarship in the states. Per a video, he wants to be the first Fujian-Australian to play in the NBA. The scholarship opportunity unfolded right around the time of Covid, which required Burundi to be in a state of flux with respect to being able to come to the states. Looking at his play at Garden City cc, he plays in what might be one of the toughest cc conferences in the country, with dodge Hutchinson, Barton and Coffeyville just a few of the teams he hast to go up against. That said, as noted in his stats line above, while it’s a small sample size 12/31, which is three point percentage at 38%, I concur with several other BW posters thatBuru is the real deal. Ready out of the box, andBuru has three years of eligibility. Being able to add some low post versatility along with Chad is something that would add another dimension to the Bonnies. m.facebook.com/ABCPacific/videos/burus-dream-to-be-the-first-fijian-australian-in-the-nba/248334627194664/wow Buru, Elijah and Tyson all legit power forwards, any one of these guys could really help us. One moreBuru post, A YouTube video, not highlights but a little bit more about the person. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oyd1_9ky3wkhoping the staff can engage Jayylen Adams in there recruiting pitch. I got a think with the year he had playing in Australia a year ago, Buru would certainly recognize a guy who crystallized interest in the Australian national basketball league. I’m in Chicago now, on my way back to MN, which is still covered in ice. I have to say the recruiting stuff really gets me charged up. I looked to see if I could find anything else about Daniel Johnson, the 67’7” shooting guard out of Witney HS in Chicago, but couldn’t find much, Daniel like Chadarius Storey the 6’6” former Saint Joe’s recruit, who has really come into his own as a multiple level score at Florida southwest State, either one of these guys would give us some badly needed scoring punch. So I ammo some real possibilities to be able to add a power forward in a wing scorer, and still keeping my fingers crossed for Devon Vanderpool, and let’s not forget Miles Rose, Who committed from PSA.

As always, I see that Chuck has posted and I know I have something to look forward to reading.
His update on Miles Rose with something I think we were all wondering about. Clearly PSA continues to attract and develop top talent. When you see the interest from the P6 schools you know you’re traveling in rare air. I have no idea what kind of player Miles Rose is going to be, but he’ll give us more size at the guard position and coming in and spending a year with banks and flowers as scoring threats won’t put too much pressure on him to score.
Buru or Burt, as my iPad spellchecker wants to refer to him, appears to be a bigger, stronger version of the guy we went to after who played at Coffeyville and ended up at Georgia. Buru, is at the top of my list, but having two other guys, Elijah Strong and Tyson Brown, as guys we are going after, recognizes I need that we have four more help in the front court. All three have the size, athleticism to put a rebounding on a similar plane with the top 10 teams.
Impressive work from a group of dedicated coaches, who you’re in and you’re out do incredibly heavy lifting to supply talent for the little engine that could.
Between mMiles Rose s commitment, the possibility of Devin Vanderpool may be part of the mix and then you add in Jadarius Storey or Daniel Johnson And you give her a present squad a real boost.
My money is still on Melian Martinez ls going to be a contributor. We know some guys will leave, but those that stay will continue to grow and develop. I am in the rumple camp, not for what he has done in his, but how he has shown in the minutes he s played that as he becomes more comfortable he gives us a real boost when he comes in the game. And just think what ChadVenning is Going to look like after spending another summer with Coach Fiske, continuing to work on his game, he will be I ammo one of the best pigs in the A-10.
I come back to seeing a Chuck post And being really excited to see what he has uncovered.

In the lull, I thought I would check in on a couple of our junior college recruits, Buru Naivalutua, 6’8” 235 freshman at garden city cc, it appears their season is done. Buru s last three games were kind of a mixed bag, he put up 19, 11 and I want to say 8 pts in those games. That said,Buru avg almost 15 ppl and avg 10 rpg, I would guess the fujian-Australian will likely receive some Jayhawks cc conference recognition, which is pretty good for ani ternationalin their first year playing college hoops in the US.
In the case of JaderianStorey, the 6’6” g/f from sw Florida state college after he left st joe s, Jadarian had 36, 29 and I want to say 18. Jadarian continues to shoot lights out from 3, very fluid player. I would compare his game to the Billikens Perkins, who translated his scoring from the jc level to the A10, without much difficulty. He would be IMO, just what the doctor ordered. Tyson Brown, 6’9” 239 of, is also at SW, he had one 15 pt and a couple other games in single digits, but I believe was double digit boards fro two of their three last games. I thinkSW s season is done as well.
One last note. That SIP noted the portal is starting to jump with players and I’m already seen quite a few PF s in the list.

That would be step one if he selects Bona's with Rose both being 6'4+. Step 2 would be the PF from Garden City juco, Burundi. Step 3 an Uber athletic 6'7 Chicago wing from Whitney Young powerhouse.
