I think everybody was floating after the Charleston Classic. Since then, things have gotten bumpy. Between Lofton’s ankle injury, and the 25 day layoff, i’m inclined to give this team some leeway.
There’s no sense in harping on past losses and inconsistencies. The only focus right now is to defend our A10 crown. This team is battle tested and hungry to repeat.

Perfect post, Bigcat....Even if I could find the words, I don't know if I could have described it any better...Like you said, hopefully, we are just a month away from hitting our peak and can pull it off...Things certainly look "iffy" at this moment considering where we had hoped this team would be at this time. I hope Coach gives Linton a chance to play again. I was hoping when Dom got into foul trouble, he would get a shot but Coach brought in Adams instead and we didn't really have a "3" at the time while Dom was on the bench. Like I said before, I think Coach is resigned to letting the "Iron 5" try to figure this out for themselves believing that they have earned that right. Let's see where his faith goes... Was Linton even at the game? I didn’t see him on the bench. I think you're right, Hermit. I went through my DVR of the game and I could not recognize Linton Brown anywhere. I didn't think to look at the bench in any of the previous games since the "pause" but I know he didn't play in either of the games at LaSalle, vs. VCU or at Dayton. Anybody have any insight as to what might be happening? I know that Jaren Holmes had alluded to his concern that players were "healthy" during press conference after the VCU game, I think, and Schmidt has indicated that the whole team was not going to be there at LaSalle. Maybe these references were regarding Linton?
