Kyle undoubtedly has some of that Hagen swag, but the comparisons end as soon as the talk turns to shooting the ball. Those 70s teams would have gone even further with a 3 pt line The comparisons end when shooting the ball? Lofton is a better shooter than Hagan was. He has been our leader for one of the most successful periods of SBU basketball. I have seen both play and if I needed to pick one it would be Lofton. Physically tougher, definitely not flashier, but in my opinion better, I think he suffers from the good old days memories on here. The mid 70's Bonnies were very good, but these Bonnies are better. We need to appreciate what we have. Geneseo, I respect you as a poster, but definitely disagree with what you're saying. We played better teams then. The Georgetown/Syracuse/Villanova/Va Tech/Detroit(Vitale teams)/Providence/DePaul(better then) teams were better than anything we play today in the A10. We had a heck of a schedule then. Waterman would neutralize Shoon and Hollis/Sanders/Baron were better than Holmes/Adaway/Welch. That team could shoot and this tean can't. I'll take Hagan against Lofton. Simply too quick and a majician with the ball. All purely my opinion.

I think Hagen was terrific, but pound for pound, give me Marcus Green.

Jaylen Adams wasn’t too shabby, either
