While Big Mike wants to weigh in, I’m also interested to hear his thoughts on Jeff Bezos since Amazon offers the ability to ciew this film and I would assume makes money off of views, Joe Tsai, Alibaba and their connection with the CCP. Oh wait, he can’t rock the NBA China boat.

Mike V is a super Bona guy, and I love reading his columns in the NY Post, but he is way off base here.
The NBA has a close financial relationship with the Communist Chinese government, to the point that it bans players and managers/gm's who publicly criticize the Chinese Reds. The NBA also has amnesia when it comes to the Red Chinese genocide of Muslims and Christians in Western China. Red China is a regressive, totalitarian government, much like Stalin's USSR during the reign of terror.
The NBA has no right to censor the views of its players, regardless of how unpopular or disagreeable those views are, and Kyrie's views are very disagreeable to most Americans. Yet, the First Amendment protects all speech, with a very few exceptions, including Kyrie's speech. Time for the NBA to move on.
Censorship is a corrosive attack on our basic freedoms. Sorry Mikey......

As Vaccaro stated in his piece, “Freedom of speech does not equate to freedom from consequence.” Irving’s views are not good for the organization or the league. Vaccaro is spot on.

NBA alignment with China, while disregarding human rights violations is also not good for the league. Mike must be hiding that info in his desk, right next to where he hid his Bona degree after the welding scandal.

Mike and Woj came out pretty strong against JVBK after the scandal. I don’t think anybody gives more visibility and props to SBU than those two, other than the basketball team itself.

But Mike and Woj say nothing about the NBA genuflecting to the Red Chinese government, banning players, coaches and GM's who oppose the horrendous human rights violations and genocidial actions that Chi Comms impose. Nor have Mike and Woj objected to the arrest of the Catholic Hong Kong Cardinal for speaking out for democracy. Time for both of these guys to stand up, and act for the players, coaches and GM's who have been ostracized by the NBA for their democratic beliefs. That being said, both are certainly distinguished Bona alums..........who constantly support the Brown and White.

Oh please, this welding scandal was over one single welding course at a community college, one single course for one athlete, mistakenly allowed for credit here at Bonas........give me a break. And this minor infraction caused how much havoc to our beloved university, meanwhile at Syracuse and UNC, athletes were allowed to have stand ins take exams for them in all classes, and provided with luxury cars, and cash.....give me a break. Was Syracuse and UNC placed on a three year probation? Hell No! The A10 totally over-reacted, and it nearly destroyed this university.

Triggered. It sure doesn’t take much. Injustice is injustice....and we were treated very harshly in comparison to UNC or Syracuse or UConn or Kentucky............thanks again.....
