Name is too long, hopefully they call the them “the Revs” which is kinda cool. I think given the other options they announced, this is probably the best one

They should have just used GW. It's a de facto nickname just like Bonnies was when we changed from Brown Indians. I'll bet the announcers still use GW more than Revolutionary.

Don't get down on GW. St. Bonaventure changed their name too. We went from brown Indians to Bonnies and then almost Wolves. Give GW some slack.
