Brad Sheehan a 6-foot-10, 215 pound center from Shaker High School in Latham, New York, has had some very good moments this summer with the Albany City Rocks. "I noticed it since he walked in the door from the (Nike) All-America camp," said Carmen Maciariello, Sheehan's coach with the Albany City Rocks. "He's got the swagger, he's got the confidence."
Coaches are noticing. Syracuse was somewhat ahead of the curve when they offered Sheehan weeks ago, but now other high major programs are monitoring his progress. "Georgia Tech loves him, Virginia loves him, Notre Dame, Syracuse, Siena, Fairfield, St. Bonaventure (are all interested)," said Maciariello.
