From what I understand, the A-10 doesn't look to kindly on and maybe doesn't even allow teams to take on guarantee games. I remember Bona looking to play a game at Texas Tech a few years ago with no return. The A-10 wouldn't allow it.
Does any one remember the last time the Bonnies played somewhere and didn't get a return in some regard or didn't get the game bought out? The Syracuse deal a couple years ago was a 2-for-1 with the home game at Rochester.
Therefore, the best way to schedule is home and homes with good mid major programs because its difficult to get BCS teams into the RC. Also even some mid majors (UB) don't want any part of Olean. It's tough.

With all that said, how did we get Miss St. to Olean?? Posted on Ask the AD: Q: How were you able to get Mississippi State to come play in the RC? Awesome job! Phil in Sea Girt, N.J. A: While it would be great to have a nice story about how we worked long and hard to get Mississippi State to come play us in the RC, that just isn't true. It was really quite simple and the game almost fell in our lap. They were looking for a game in the northeast to go along with a Thanksgiving tournament they're playing in up this way and we had an open date that worked for them. It's a simple home-and-home series that will see us returning the game next season to their campus in Starkville. We hope to show our new "friends" from the SEC just how difficult it is to play in the Reilly Center.
