I'm more concerned about the possibility that the Kentucky job could be opening up. I have to believe Schmidt would be on the short list for consideration. He turned around Robert Morris, has the Bonnies back on the winning track. Those are two programs without the name recognition that Kentucky would bring. Imagine what he could do if he were at tha big time program with those resources at his disposal.

I would be more concerned if I were Rhode Island. With the turnaround that Baron has done with the Bonnies and the Rams, I would have to think he would more likely to be on their short list than Schmidt.

I hope this is just sarcasm about Schmidt and Baron to UK.

I thought Solomon had the inside track at Kentucky.

Kelvin Sampson has a better chance at UK than Schmidt or Baron

I second your post Mike Bossy. If Kentucky is going to hire anybody, it's going to be either Billy Donovan, Travis Ford, or keep Gillespie. We don't need to worry about Schmidt leaving for another couple of years. I would not be surprised if he stays until Andrew graduates, he realizes that he can win with Andrew and should win a lot of games with Nicholson on the team.

Woosh is right, but they probably still don't realize that means it went right over their heads. Guess I should've gone with the head coach of the Nashville Broncs of the ABA to be in the running for the Kentucky job if it opens. I'll try to dumb it down going forward so as not to confuse anybody.

In return I'll remember that your real life persona is that of Superman's archnemesis, Brainiac. P.S. Sorry, not all of us watched Fraiser. EDIT TO ADD: Superman's quote makes absolutly no sense. So he can't take the chance, but he's going to anyway???

Curry ended up at Duke, but I hear SBU was a close second.

The UK AD was a little concerned that the Lady Bonnies were in the "national spotlight" more than the men's team. I hear Schmidt is still on the short list, but near the bottom.
