Oh how I have waited for this day. If I sucked at my job as bad as Vaughan did at his none of my students would know how to read. Hopefully AN gets a fair chance. Does anyone know anything about the assistant coach...he will be taking over as interim? Hopefully he has a different philosophy that involves using a guy who is 6-9 with a long range jumper.

Don't expect to see much change in attitude - the word I get is that they want to run an uptempo offense with the athletes they have and maybe AN doesn't fit into that style of play - but we can hope and pray.

I guess we really won't see much change. Please God get AN out of Orlando.

Vaughn is gone, but Andrew is not seeing the benefit yet. The last time he played was January 10th. I read somewhere that it was an issue with his ability to play defense. He should be getting a better shot than this. In the Milwaukee game he was the only listed player on the roster that did not play. C'mon.....

He needs to be traded or sadly sent down to the NBADL. Nothing good can come from him riding the pine night after night. The NBADL will at least allow other teams too see what he can do. Alot will depend on the new hire at the head coaching position for the Magic. Hopefully he gets traded in the next 12 days.

Again, expect little change for AN, I have heard that Vaughan was/is not the issue.

What issue would that be then? His defense? His defense would have to be really horrific because many guys in the league just choose not to play it.

See ANDREW has been activated for tonight's game, however, he is only one of two players not to have gotten in to play yet.

I believe the issue is more related to the fact that the Magic want to run an uptempo style of play and AN seems to me to be best served in a half-court offense. Although O'Quinn and Dedmon seem to lumber as well. Trade deadline is February 19 so we shall see if they decide to get him out. Really a disservice if they don't trade him and he sits for the next year or more.

Thanks Cassian for clearing that up. I guess that just speaks to the dysfunction of the Magic organization. Why would AN be drafted as their #1 pick if they wanted to run an offense that doesn't suit him. It's just stupid. Not much communication between GM and coach. Hopefully AN gets moved by the dedline.
