Nicholson traded to Brooklyn Nets. I hope he improves as a NBA player. So far blow avg player in the NBA.....I'm gonna watch him at the Barclays Center. ....home of the NY ISLANDERS.

Looks like former SU player Chris McCullough is also part of the deal headed to Washington.

The Nets are, to put it nicely, hot garbage. If he can't get playing time there, its not going to happen.

Old friend Jacque Vaughn is an assistant with the Nets

All the players are better, which is why it doesn't always look that way.

Nicholson will get a chance to play for sure.. he needs to capitalize on that though or he is in danger of the stretch provision buy out after the season.
The good news though is that the Nets are still under the cap floor so if he does play well in his opportunity they would not mind keeping him on long term and carve out his role as an off the bench scoring post!!!

Sad to see him return to another losing team that is an absolute mess. He paid his dues in Orlando, now he has to deal with a dysfunctional Nets organization.

Andrew in his new digs I gotta say he looks better in the black & gray. Something about the Wizards red uniforms..... It didn't seem right seeing a Bonnie wearing Dayton/St. Joe's/Umass colors!!! Nice quotes today: From the Nets coach, Kenny Atkinson: "He'll bring some rebounding, he's a skilled big. He's shown the ability to shoot the ball from 3-point range" From Andrew: "I'm excited to be a part of the organization. It's a blessing and a great opportunity."

just checked the Nets website. Kind of surprised that one of the assistant coaches is Jacque Vaughn. Pretty sure Andrew had his fill of him in Orlando.

Was he not able to join team for tonight's game? Not in the line up.

Was he not able to join team for tonight's game? Not in the line up. He was there, but did not play, neither did their other two pickups, so I guess we'll see. At Golden State next, they'll need plenty of scoring.

What is the stretch provision buy out? The NBA and it's contracts are so hard to keep track of.
