jh....thanks for the compelling info that Kyle and family will factor into their important decision. Liked the student body chanting Kyle's name during the game & urging him to come to Bona.
Again I wish Kyle and his family the very best in making sure he selects the school which is the perfect match for him.

Pitt really needs a true 5 who can play right away in it's class - hope you get one of the ones you offered so far, Jamie, then withdraw Kyle's offer.

per Zag's blog... Kyle Alexander, a 6-foot-10 2015 forward from Orangeville Prep in Ontario, enjoyed his weekend visit to St. Bonaventure and is still planning his other officials.
The visit was “great,” his father, Joseph, told SNY.tv.
“They answered all of our questions and focused on what he asked for, which was getting specifics about his major,” Joseph said. “Kyle really liked the coaching staff, as did my wife and I. It was an informative visit for Kyle.”
Alexander has an official set for Pittsburgh Feb. 13-15 and Rice, Rhode Island and Western Kentucky also want him to visit.
“We’ll see if the Pitt visit happens and decide where the final three visits will be after that,” he said.

The name that leaps off jh’s post is AQUILLE CARR, the 5’7 HS Phenom who played with Brown when they won the MD 3A State championship in 2012. Brown was a senior & Carr a Jr. Carr scored 28 pts while Brown pumped in 18 & grabbed 10 boards for Pattterson HS’s first State Ship.
Carr was the show in Baltimore at the time & was easily named Baltimore’s Top Player. He turned down a ship to Seton Hall and many others to play ball in Europe & is now looking to play in the NBA.
SHAKIR BROWN has developed a chiseled true 6’6”/218 frame. This season at Angelina College he is 21ppg, 49% FGs, 37% TREYS, 10.8 rebs, 72% FTs & 2.6 assists.
Shakir continues to get better & better. In his last 6 games (dating back to 1/17) he is 27.3 PPG, 55% FGs, 53% TREYS (26-49 he is not shy), 72% FTs, 11.2 rebs and 1.45 A/TO Ratio. WOW!
Seems to be a Jonathan Hall type player but with a deadly TREY ball.
