I'm hearing that Buay Tuach will be on campus this weekend According to a Rivals article Tuach is scheduled to visit Bona this weekend. He stated that West Virginia is his leader at this point. Bona has the opportunity to make a huge impression regarding how he would fit in with our roster. He was at West Virginia last weekend. West Virginia reportedly made it clear that he is a high priority with an opportunity to contribute right away. Kudos to our staff for making inroads with Buay. Let's hope they can give him more things to consider as to Bona being the best fit.

This visit by Buay excites me. Hope he visits with his mom Nyibel Liem. At Northeast CC, 25-7 (#10 JUCO) he had 17ppg, but 23ppg in final 6games. 61% fgs,39% treys,1.3 a/to ratio,2.3 assists,6.3 rebs, 64% FTS AND 50 STEALS. West VA hosted him with VCU after him also. Real good shooter. Hit 11 of 17 treys in final games. 2nd team all region. Coach calls him a lock down defender. Played 24 mpg at NE. A long shooting guard with nice playmaking stats. Add impressive hops to his list of strengths. AND he also played football at Omaha South HS. Poor quality video but can't hide his hops to add to a great shot. www.youtube.com/watch?v=wzxsg5aty8Q www.youtube.com/watch?v=SLExCtfDImk www.youtube.com/watch?v=aNsc5QglD3o West VA & VCU extending lots of love his way.

Its good that Joe Alexander's decision to eliminate Bona is finally made public. It was a long time coming & comes as no surprise. The decision should be Kyle's not Joe's... Maybe it is but I don't like hearing this. For many reasons. This might be why we see so many players on the transfer list: their parents dictating the recruitment decision. --- again not saying that is the case with Kyle Alexander, I am only going by your wording...

Don't agree with you 2fal4life, I think it is too early to expect a lot from Coach Jerome yet. I think he has to be on the job for at least a year to develop real relationships. Anything we get from him this year would be a bonus.

Wow. You read this article and you wonder who is being recruited, Kyle or Joe Alexander.? I will say this. Joe has done a tremendous job marketing his kid. Keep in mind that Kyle started playing basketball only 2 years ago. And he hasn't played a game in 2 months. But listening to Joe you would think he's got the next Karl Anthony Towns. And he's all over the place as to where he thinks Kyle should go. He thinks he'll prosper in the ACC or SEC cause they run up and down the court. Say what? Then he says New Mexico and w Ky. have great film schools so Kyle will like that. Then he says Tennessee really likes his raw potential but that he needs to find a place where he can play as a freshman, which won't happen at Tennessee. He goes on to sing the praises of Rice and its academics, all true. But they have one of the worst basketball programs in the country.Bar none Dreadful. I got a headache reading the article. Here's the bottom line with Kyle. He's raw, has potential and size but has only played the game for 2 years. He needs to play somewhere so he can develop. But Father Joe will market him to some big school like Tennessee , where he'll ride the pine for 2 years, be recruited over and transfer out. Nice job Joe.

Jeez. must be great for the morale of the last 3 kids on Huggy's bench to have to wonder who he is going to give the ax to if a recruit tickles his fancy.

Chuck....Now that would make for one special weekend if Buay's teamate joined him on his visit.
Your description of Chima inside as a beast is spot on. Grabbed 12 boards a game. Both these guys make their shots (Chima 58% & Buay 62% & 39% TREYS)
We offered Chima the end of Feb. Does the Flag Man have an Aussie flag?

Its a good thing we have no history of developing young, big men who are just learning to play the game...nope...no history what so ever.

Unfortunately kids are swayed by offers to play in the bigger conferences, even if they might be better off at somewhere like Bonas. Can we get a pronunciation guide for Buay?
