Just started looking at their site.....I will see if I can find their Message Board. The game is part of the activities for homecoming weekend, and with 2 consecutive wins, this will prove to be a very difficult game MEN'S BASKETBALL VS. ST. BONAVENTURE The Patriots and Bonnies meet for the first time as conference opponents on Saturday as part of the Mason Homecoming festivities. Mason has taken the past two decisions over the Bonnies including the most recent victory on December 28, 2004 in New York. Mason enters the contest with two straight A-10 victories, most recently avenging an earlier loss to UMass with a 91-80 victory on the road Wednesday night. It marked the first loss for the Minutemen on their home floor this season. Five Patriots scored in double-figures while Erik Copes posted his fourth career double-double behind 15 rebounds and 12 points. St. Bonaventure, coming off a victory at Fordham, has dropped three of its past five decisions. The Bonnies are 1-4 in league road games. Matthew Wright paces the offense with a 15.3 ppg average as Charlon Kloof adds 12.5 ppg. www.gomason.com/SportSelect.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=25200&SPID=80389&SPSID=606519&DB_OEM_ID=25200

This feels a lot more like a non-conference game since we really know nothing at all about these guys and I don't have any reason to hate them.
Also, I like how there is a guy over on the Mason board saying he likes GMU's chances in the conference tourney as long as they don't draw VCU. Someone needs to remind him hes not in the CAA anymore.

I'll be traveling down to the game & will attend with my son his wife & their 4 children. All wearing Bona gear.
They usually have a crowd of 4,700 but the 10K+ arena is nearly sold out for our game due to Homecoming. They will be sky high after road win over Umass.

Very good point jjacks. GM is playing with the big boys now...and we can actually say that since the A10 is 2nd in the country with the most teams in the top 50 in the RPI.

fjs64 - here is my amateur attempt at a "scouting report" that I used to start a separate thread after seeing the Patriots defeat Duquesne last Saturday in Pittsburgh: A friend and I, with nothing better to do Saturday afternoon, attended the Duquesne-George Mason game at the Palumbo Center in Pgh. So I figured I might as well give my unsolicited 2 cents as a scout since we go to GMU in the midst of what should be an upcoming 3 to 6 game winning streak. We know how tough it is to get a W on the road, but we should be able to handle the Patriots, even at their place. Frankly, we should win every match-up with them. Their guards are pretty good, but they have nothing that will impress/scare anyone. They beat the Dukes for their first league W, but it was obvious why they came in winless in league play. I'll say this much for them - they hustled and fought for every loose ball and rebound, but there is not much talent, particularly inside. Like the Dukes, their "bigs" are 6'8" and no one is close to Ovie Soko of the Dukes, who was held in check and was NOT sent to the free-throw line every time a defender had the nerve to try to play D on him. So this should be win #2 of our upcoming win streak, and should brighten things on here.
That they - or anyone, beat Duquesne did not surprise me, but them beating UMass is a shocker given my assessment of them, but I didn't see anything from them that impressed me other then their hustle at every position including bench players thru 8 or 9. I still say we win and continue on a "start of the down-the-stretch winning streak" to include - incredibly - 2 road wins in a row.
Go Bonnies - just play your game, but take care of the ball, and we'll be OK. Too many turn-overs could be our downfall here b/c they will get to loose balls - let Charlon handle the ball.
