Was searching for a title for this thread, and being that I was a math major I felt this would be appropriate. The question is how do we differentiate between Jalen Adams and Jaylen Adams....we want this to be seamless and allow Gary Nease to impart to his audience which Adams was he referring to. Being that this same situation was faced when I was living in Austin, TX, I wanted to share that experience. The UT football team had two freshman coming in, both were halfbacks, and both had the same name, Johnny Jones. One of the Jones boys became a pro playing for the NY Jets (he also won a gold Medal in the 1976 Montreal Olympics). This Jones was from Lampassas, TX, the other from Hamlin , TX. To remove confusion, the Texas football coach, Darrell Royal, named one Lam Jones and the other Ham Jones. www.texasmonthly.com/content/johnny-%E2%80%9Clam%E2%80%9D-jonesSo now with this background, what names will be bestowed upon the Adams boys. I am sure that this subject will be highly intense as many suggestions will be forthcoming....I look forward to Mark playing the role of Darrell Royal, or Gary Nease becoming the differentiator

Didn't they both play for the Jets? I never knew where the ham and lam came from.

If we were able to differentiate the Congers, we'll be OK with the Adams.

By whatever their uniform numbers are! Adams "1" or Adams "2" (hypothetically speaking)

Why not just refer to one as Jalen and the other as Adams, at least for the radio commentary.
