Wright and Smith to play in Europe

Both Dion Wright and Xavier Smith will be playing this summer in Europe (similar to Matt Wright, Demetrius Conger and Mike Davenport in past summers).

Does anyone have an update regarding their trip. I did see a tweet which talked a little about Xavier's athleticism. That was it.

I don't believe they were on the same trip. I think that Dion went earlier this summer while Xavier's trip might be just about coming to an end now.

Wright and his teammates open their five-game slate on Friday, Aug. 15 against Melsele in Brussels, Belgium. The team will play four more games Aug. 16-19, then return to the United States on Aug. 21.

The team's first game is Wednesday, Aug. 13, in Amsterdam against Soba, with games each of the following four days. The team will also make stops in Germany, London and Belgium for games as well as sightseeing.
