That is some high praise from Schmidt about a freshman. Quote, "2nd best shooter on the team". Can't wait to see him in action!!!

Agreed, when I heard he was the 2nd best shooter on the team that made me feel really good about him. He likes like he has a good handle already. Boy would it be nice to have a capable shooting PG...would really change the dynamic of the team. We haven't had that since Relph left.

I thought he was kind of thin in h.s. Looks a little sturdier (more physically ready for A10 play) than I expected.

Coach obviously knows a lot more than I do, but after I watched the video (with no sound and before coming here), I thought his release was low. I've seen him called undersized for an A10 PG so his release point becomes an important factor.

I have heard that Alston sprained his MCL does this mean that Adams will get the nod at point to start the year? I know Gathers isn't quite 100% yet

Boy would it be nice to have a capable shooting PG...would really change the dynamic of the team. We haven't had that since Relph left. Eric Mosely?? Not too many can shoot it better than him! Mosley could certainly stroke it. Consider the following: 1. Senior year Eric was 2nd to only A-10's player of the year Khalif Wyatt in points scored per 40 minutes (23.4 points). 2. Senior year Eric was 2nd to 3 point shooting specialist Brad Redford in 3 point accuracy in A-10. 3. Eric's career 3 point percentage of 40.7% is 2nd on Bonnies' all time list. Even with Eric Mosley's impressive scoring and great stroke the Bonnies finished with just 14 wins, which is the least number of wins since Schmidt's first year with the Bonnies. It was a disappointing year when you consider the talented starting lineup of Demetrius, Chris Johnson, Marquise, Youssou and Eric. Eric's average of just 2.1 assists per game could be a big reason for the disappointing seaon, because the team lacked chemistry. In comparison Kloof's senior year averaged 5.0 assists per game which, was 2nd in the A-10. Kloof leads his team (considered having less talent) to the semifinals of the A-10 tournament, while Mosley's team is left out of the tournament. Mosley and Kloof were completely different players. Mosley had a great stroke, Kloof struggled with his (shot just 28.6% from 3s as a senior). Mosley rarely drove, while Kloof excelled at taking it to the basket, which allowed him to setup his teammates with open jump shots. Having a point guard with a great stroke is nice to have, but what is really important is having a point guard that can drive and set up his teammates. statsheet.com/mcb/players/stats/points40?games=2&conf=a-10&season=2012-2013&min=statsheet.com/mcb/players/stats/threefg_pct?games=2&conf=a-10&season=2012-2013&min=static.psbin.com/g/4/mzplw7di603prw/MBBrecordbook.pdfstatsheet.com/mcb/players/player/st-bonaventure/eric-mosleystatsheet.com/mcb/coaches/mark-schmidt/career_recordstatsheet.com/mcb/players/player/st-bonaventure/charlon-kloofstatsheet.com/mcb/players/stats/assists_avg?conf=a-10&games=2
