congrats to sr margaret and all who orchestrated an agreement between bonas and st mary's high school in lancaster, ny that will encourage students there to attend bonas by providing a $1,000 scholarship to every st mary's student who enrolls at bonas as a freshman, and a $5,000 schoolarship will be awarded each year to 1 st mary's student who will be going to bonas...that student will be chosen by the st mary's principal and will be chosen because that student "best demonstrates exemplary academic and leadership capacity with an extraordinary commitment to the franciscan ideals of individual worth and community"...i think this is a great idea and hope bonas will team up with more high schools in the northeast and maybe some in the midwest...
