It's cute that they made the score respectable with all of the late 3's... but let's be honest. This was an ass kicking at home to a mediocre at best Siena team. This program has hit rock bottom. If it hasn't, I'd hate to see it. Maybe we can schedule some Dominican teams and get our ass kicked too. obviously a "new" member if you think this is rock bottom...one bad game does not compare with the Solomon era...crawl back under your bridge, troll, and take the other a** with you

The best thing about the game besides Cumberbatch and Posley was being able to watch the game streamed perfectly from a Verizon mobile hotspot. Great picture and audio, a first for two years since I usually utilize DSL which is a bust. Bonnies will improve, this is a young team and the coaches and players will figure it out I have no doubt. Go Bona's

If you guys really want to forecast our record, let's just do it out by the Vegas odds right now. As of right now, starting at 1-1, we'd probably finish with around 12 wins if the Vegas odds are going to be accurate. Somewhere between 11-14 from my estimate. Either a disappointing season or extremely disappointing season.

KENPOM and SAGARIN both had St. Bonaventure well ahead of Siena... I'll trust statistic based rankings any day of the week. The good news is that St. Bonaventure is going to completely plummet in these rankings soon enough with all of these turnovers and terrible shooting.

Yes, turnovers were a key to the loss but for most of the night the Bonnies were outhustled, outcoached, and when you have more turnovers than assists, too much one on one. As stated earlier, Siena just played 2 nights ago but still outhustled the Bonnies most the night. Look at Siena's balanced scoring compared to the Bonnies. Lack of senior leadership? (Nice game Andell, this does not mean you, thanks for being one of the few to show up)! Perhaps, outcoached in that("I am allowed to stand on the court all night long") Patsos's 2-3 zone defense completely took Dion and Youssou out of the game and Schmidt had nothing to counter this. Vermont basically beat Siena by taking them off the dribble, Bona didn't or couldn't do this tonight. A lot of blame to go around, Siena's point guard 15 points, 8 assists 3 turnovers, Bonnies combined PG effort, 7 points, 7 turnovers, 5 assists. This is on the staff for no experienced PGs on the squad, and don't give me Gathers if he was healthy, he was not recruited here as a PG. Denzel can share some blame for letting his teammates down, I would have rather seen him in there tonight against Long. At one time tonight, freshman Idris Taqqee had to guard 6-8 Ogunyemi.

"The GOOD news" Case closed. That was clearly sarcasm. But seriously... we won't have to worry about losing to teams ranked 60-70 spots below us statistically if we lower our own statistical rankings 60-70 spots. That is the sarcasm of the 'good news.'

Not sure what player Coach Schmidt chose over Lavon Long when recruiting 2 years ago but I saw last years game and I saw this years game and in my opinion Lavon Long was the difference in both games . Better said, if Long was on our side instead of their side, we would have won both games handily. That kid can play.
On another matter, if the trolling continues from a couple of these posters, I for one will no longer read this blog. Something needs to be done by the administrator. I'm sure I can speak for other legitimate Bona fans.

BONNIESBOUND it seems like we are both TROLLS... not sure why. Losing a home game to Siena is a good thing.. not sure why.

Someone who cares of the school doesn't need to refer to it as St Bonaventure when talking to other Bona fans.
