Happy holidays everyone. Jim Pransky, who succeeded Fred Handler as baseball coach at Saint Bonaventure in 1982 and coached for three years, is now scouting for the Colorado Rockies and is in his 23rd year of professional baseball. He has also published five books (three sports fiction and two ML biographies). His latest book is John "Flash" Flaherty: Behind the Mask, Behind the Scenes." It's a story about 25th round draft pick and 14 year ML veteran, John Flaherty.
Jim's books can be seen on the Tate Publishing website or on his own website, LinkedIn or his Facebook page. Email and other contact information can also be found there. His books target both young readers and adults and he has readers from 8 to 80. One of his biographies is about Port Allegany graduate and big league pitcher, Josh Kinney.
