RE Posley. I'm not sure if it's fatigue or not but the fact that he still gets the minutes he does is a massive indictment on the team's bench. Consider how poor Taqqee/Jalen are (In Schmidt's eyes) that the almost never see the floor. If that doesn't scare you about next year nothing will. Schmidt better get an impact wing (maybe one of the freshman, doubt it, he'll likely need a JUCO) for next year because I'm not sure what you're getting from MP next season and Cumberbatch (much maligned as he is) will be gone. This team needs a shooter (a real, big time, consistent shooter) and a F badly. If Taqqee starts at the 3 next year I'm not sure if anyone guards him outside of ten feet. www.thebonablog.com

When Posley tosses up seven bricks to start the game, what is he tired from? Layup line?

Richmond wins, 4-way tie at top of the table: VCU, Dayton, Davidson, URI. Unreal. All 11-4, 3 to play.

Bonnies fans: Hope for VCU and Davidson to finish 1-2. We've beaten them both and that's an early tie-breaker for Brooklyn. www.thebonablog.com

I'm not going rag on Posley. As frigid as he's been, he's the reason the Bonnies are 7-8 right now instead of 4-11. He's earned some leeway. Single handedly sent the Duquesne game to OT. The Davidson and VCU winners were legendary. The man is gassed. His jumper is hanging by a thread. Every shot is a near air ball or completely off line. I know it sounds crazy, but playing 35 minutes a night since November takes a toll on your body. Especially when you have NO HELP on the perimeter. He's been hounded every night. It's also no coincidence that Posley's struggles have been amplified since Jay's injury. Jay was adept at finding Posley for open looks.
Duquesne Saturday Night is a perfect opportunity to recharge the batteries.

Bonnies not playing well. Duquesne looks like a tough game. Get tough, team!

If we're pointing fingers, I'm looking directly at Iakeem Alston. The phrase in sports when someone gets injured is "Next man up". Iakeem has not risen to the occasion. He has no traits that resemble a quality point guard. Defenders guard him like he has the plague - daring him to shoot. We all knew he couldn't shoot, but I was hopeful he could use his quickness to penetrate and make plays. Instead- he's overthinking, dribbling into trouble, and just playing with no plan.
Our only hope is that Jay is healed in time for Brooklyn.

If we're going to point fingres then we'll need a lot of fingers. Everything was terrible tonight

Hold up. Posley is really 8 for his last 63? Is that real life? Or a 5 year old playing NBA 2k for the first time?
I knew It was bad, but not THAT bad.

Marcus is in the worst slump that I have seen from a Bonnie in years. I don't understand why Schmidt doesn't take him out of two minutes before a media timeout and get some fresh legs in. Sub him in right after the timeout it will be a good rest for him. Totally agree. I can not believe how poorly he is doling out the minutes. Defend the three? I think we are opposed to this. Make some threes. Getting an open look is not something we should avoid so consistently. Develop some pressure defense. Stop being so nice and respectful to our opponents. Use your bench for more than 6 points and 5 rebounds. Rotation. I think we are opposed to this.

If only the Bonnies still had Jean Yves Toupane to take some of the scoring burden off of Posley.
Or Matthias Runs to give Ndoye a breather.
I'm sorry folks, just trying to bring the jokes.

Seriouly, I think Jaylen Adams should be A-10 ROY, A-10 3rd Team and the Bonnies MVP!! Look how lost that team is without him running the point!!

Make it double OT. This is fun. Richmond's going crazy. Better yet, this game is preempting Duke on ESPN 2. Just for that, Duke went to overtime so they wouldn't lose any espn time.
