Homophobia still present, but you transfer to the school that just fired its campus priest for supporting the No H8 movement? Was he trying to get closer to homophobia?

Manny Suarez (6'10") who played for Fordham is transferring to Adelphi (Div 2). He played 14 minutes against us and scored 3 points.

Niagara has added Cheyney (DII) transfer Kevin Larkin, per source. Led all D-2 freshmen in scoring.
Can someone help with this question.....does someone transfering from Div 2 to Div 1 still have to sit out a year? I know from Div 1 to Div 2 you are eligible to play immediately (ie Jean Yves Toupane).

This one perplexes me.......a kid who just finished his Junior year, and has only 1 year of eligibility, decides to transfer. He will have to sit out a year, so the receiving school has to use 2 years of a schloraship for 1 year of playing. I know we did it for Kevin Houston, but this kid is no Kevin Houston. hamptonroads.com/2015/05/basketball-star-forward-gaston-leaving-nsu

With his size and stats I can see higher profile programs offering him a scholarship for just the 1 year. What I find perplexing is the 6 transfers from Niagara. Ramone Snowden 10.7 ppg Wesley Myers 9.4 ppg Rayvon Harris 5.7 ppg James Suber 2.2 ppg Julian Richardson 2.2 ppg DayJar Dickson 0.5 ppg Above is the scoring averages from a team that had an 8-22 record. All except Harris are either sophomores or freshmen. None have been signed by another school and honestly do you see anyone getting a scholarship offer (maybe Snowden and possibly Myers). Extreme majority of these players just gave away a free education. statsheet.com/mcb/teams/niagara/players
