If I am not mistaken I have always been informed there are 25K Bona Alumni, so if 7,600 donors contributed gifts between June 1, 2014, and May 31, 2015 that means 30% of Alumni gave back to Bonas. I would love to see this increase in addition only 1500 people are giving to Bonaventure Athletic Fund at last check out of 25K alumni that's only 6%. Would be great for all of us to continue to encourage all Alumni and friends of Bonaventure to continue to give back. Even increasing year over year can mean allot for out beloved University. A trip home to visit my family recently greeted me with a Bona Fund letter to my mother who I learned continues to give to Bonaventure. When asking her on why she continues to give as I was curious knowing she seems my passion for Bonas she stated how she does not give to my brother's Alma mater, but continues to give to Bonas as she believes in Bonaventure. Good Article on 2014 Giving: www.insidehighered.com/news/2015/01/28/2014-record-year-higher-ed-donations Lets continue to give back to Bonas in anyway we can and continue to encourage others to do the same! Go Bonas!!!

nyc02...thanks to your mom for her generosity...as i'm sure many on this board would agree, bona moms are the best!...let's never underestimate the impression we make on others with our passion for bonas...it's that kind of passion that has moms donating to their child's school years after they graduated, and that same passion will attract more students to bonas in the years to come (God willing)...
