I think last nights women's soccer 5-0 loss to A-10's George Mason was an anomaly, Mason did have the better of the shot charts but five goals is quite a bit to give up. Interesting when the official media for Bona's womens's soccer touts how the Bonnies goalie has seen more shots than any other keeper in the league, as if that is something they should be proud about. Obviously the defense is either porous infront of the keeper or we are getting beat on transition a lot. I am sure coach Bdarski will have the defense organized and ready to pressure the opponents more in our next match this weekend against GW and prevent that unimpressive stat of shots permitted to increase. Now we have to find the back of the GW cage early and often, go Bona's women's soccer beat GW!! I also thought it was an anomaly. Sounds like they may have just got down on themselves. The club started out the season pretty well but has dropped off some. Any ideas how the Haitian National Team impacts the coaching staff? These are the current RPIs of the teams on the schedule. Result RPI Team L … 268 … Binghamton T … 311 … Canisius T … 229 … Oakland W … 153 … Buffalo L … 171 … Akron W … 225 … Cleveland State W … 228 … Niagara L … 78 … Cornell L … 271 … Youngstown State L … 206 … George Mason … 125 … George Washington … 143 … Duquesne … 99 … Fordham … 269 … Rhode Island … 110 … Saint Louis … 144 … Davidson … 209 … Dayton … 182 … Richmond … 100 … Saint Joseph's The average RPI of the games played thus far is 214 while the remaining games average 153. It isn't going to get any easier for the women (RPI 238).

Thanks Pinnum for the RPI of the womens soccer programs. Really impressed with Fordham #99 and St. Joe's #100 they must be really competitive soccer teams. I think our womens team will constantly improve under Steve's direction and stiff competition. Not sure how the staff would be influenced by coaching the Haitian national team, unless they can get one of the star players to come to Bona's. Obviously Haiti's women's national team is no powerhouse, but when I watched them play on TV I could see where one or two of those players could really help us out. Coach Bdarski's connection there could be a real pipeline to some talent that might otherwise be ignored by other college programs. Hoping we get an early goal this weekend against GW and can hold off what appears to be a strong GW team, certainly stronger than George Mason was. Go Bona's beat GW!!!
