I think the womens soccer team will surprise some A-10 opponents and will not finish last, but will find it difficult to qualify for the A-10 play off's.

Any idea on who they will play in the exhibition games? I don't see any listed on the men or women's schedule.

Tomorrow's game is the season opener. I Cant remember who the men are scrimmaging but a Canandian club team is sticking in my head for some reason.

Tough loss for the Bonnies women's soccer team opener 2-1 verses Binghamton. The Brown and White outshot Binghamton 11-5 played some decent soccer at times and came up short. Plenty of bright spots, I think they will get this team rolling soon. Canisius next away, I think that will be a win for the Brown and White.

Maybe the club they were slated to play last year but was canceled due to travel issues (if I remember correctly)?

Watched womens soccer online tie Canisius this evening at the Golden Griffins field. I felt the team played with more confidence, really went after the 50-50 confrontations in 1v1 situations. Things are looking up for the lady Bonnies soccer side.

Things are looking up for the lady Bonnies soccer side. you called it after the first game, mm77...you saw some good things in that game and that it would carry over and it did...our offense put a lot more pressure on the goalie which, even though we only scored 1 goal, is what we want...first game loss...second game tie...continued improvement in third game=win (hopefully)...

Consequently, probably took a few games to gel .... i think going 1-1-2 without those 3 is sufficient reason to be optimistic as we look ahead to the rest of the ooc sked and a-10 play...when those 3 return, combined with the valuable experience gained by others in their absence, i would hope we'd be looking to the a-10 season with realistic hopes of returning to the playoffs...
