St. Louis scares the hell out of me. We don't match up well with them. BONNIES SHOULD BE AMPED UP SATURDAY NIGHT TO WIN AND QUALIFY FOR THE NCAA TOURNAMENT
but I know St. Louis will give us fits.....again as I always say, sbu needs production from there roll players Gregg, Taqqee, Tyson. J Adams needs to recover from the St Joe s game and he will.....I can see a letdown game from Posley.......IF ST BONA WINS, THEN ST BONA IS IN!
also st Bona is better than St Joseph's. I don't want any funny business if we are tied with them, THEN WE SHOULD GET IN OVER THEM.....ST BONA HAS BEATEN THEM TWICE CONVINCINGLY. AS OF NOW AT THE VERY WORST WE SHOULD BE THE THIRD TEAM SELECTED FROM THE A10.
Beat St Louis......and we will have accomplished THE AMAZIN. WHETE WILL AMAZIN HAPPEN NEXT?

If you're a true Bonnies fan, this game scares the crap out of you. Everybody on twitter is already shining their dancing shoes- and I'm just thinking one thing:
BEAT THE BILLIKENS
The encouraging thing for me is that it's the season finale and they know what's on the line. Too much at stake to lay an egg.

Like I've said before....I compare this game against St. Louis with the USA Hockey team taking on the Russians in the semi's before the Gold Medal final in 1980. Despite prime opportunity for a letdown after defeating the world's best, the Americans still had to defeat Finland to win the gold!! Ironically, I was at Bona's when the "Miracle on Ice" happened...

Herb Brooks' intermission speech against Finland was the GREATEST COACH SPEECH EVER.
"If you don't come back and win this game, you are going to take it to your [XXXX]ing graves." (turns and walks a few steps, looks back) "Your [XXXX]ing graves." (turns and walks out)

When I circled March 5th on the calendar several months ago and made plans to attend this game I had no idea it would be this important. We'll be a small contingent stuck up in the rafters. I hope our numbers grow now that the import is clear. Bonnies are ripe for a letdown and SLU will be gunning for a coonskin to nail on the wall, but we really need a win here to stay in the bracket. Let's go, team!

It looks like we can finish anywhere from 2-4, depending on Saturdays outcomes. If we were to lose and finish 4 it would be a killer more ways than one. It means we would likely play GW on Friday in Brooklyn. If we win on Saturday we are guranteed the 2 or 3 seed based on Dayton VCU outcome. Likely opponents would be URI or Davidson. I'd much rather see one of those teams on Friday than GW. BEAT ST LOUIS!

I see that VCU would still be 2-1 vs. our 3-2 against the tied teams.

1st - WOOF, would you please post the same picture of Phil Martelli saying " Posley was on fire " as you did on the A10 message board. It's just as funny as the RickMa video.
As for the Bonnie faithful that will be at the game in St Louie - it will not be well attend be their fans. By the second half you should be able to wander down and sit near the Bonnie bench.
As I said, for the LaSalle game, the same goes for this game against St Louis its the typical away trap game. The Billikens have NOTHING to lose and they played the Bonnies pretty tough in the RC a few weeks back.
I would love to see Posley or Adams or Dion or any other bonnie put on the same show as Tyler Relph did in his last game at the Chafetz by draining 3's from all over the court!
Win Bonnies, just win

HOW IS ST JOES RPI STILL BETTER THAN ST BONA! We beat them twice convincingly...... Above does not bother me. After all St. Joes defeated 3 top 100 RPI teams in OOC with wins against Princeton, Temple and Virginia Tech, while the Bonnies have just 1 with win over Ohio. What would make me upset is St. Joes making the tournament and Bonnies being left out. Not only did the Bonnies as Birdman stated "beat them twice convincingly" but Bonnies also have a better against the top 50 RPI team and I thought this is suppose to be the number 1 criteria. Currently Bonnies have an impressive winning record of 3-2 against top 50, while St. Joes has a losing record of 2-4. Both teams along with Dayton and VCU belong in the Big Dance. warrennolan.com/basketball/2016/schedule/Saint-Bonaventurewarrennolan.com/basketball/2016/schedule/Saint-Josephs

"The Wiz" seems like a real genius...those of us there - we will be heard...and probably out attend the SLU fans. Read the rest of that thread...boy are they hating on Coach Crews...do they not recall they were in the tourney just two years ago, winning 26 games and he won Coach of the Year?? Not sure who they think they are....tough crowd. EDIT: In fact, Crews won two Coach of the Year awards in a row - '13 and '14 - and they want him OUT! Go Bonas!

last time we played them it was a really tough game. But one thing I am encouraged about is that they were also the first team this season to attack Jaylen Adams all the way out past the 3pt line. Also, they were the first to double him on the high ball screen that the Bonnies like to run. I think it caught the Bonnies by surprise. Since that game though a lot of teams have been copying that strategy so Bona has had opportunities to get used to that style and adjust. Also, last time Posely was injured and struggling, hopefully the microwave is still warm from the other night ! St. Lou has quite a few pieces and they play hard. Bona has got to come out strong like they did wednesday. Lets get this one and be feeling good prior to the A10 tourney!!

Don't forget Crews won those coach of the year trophies with Rick Majerus' players. Not sure he has done so well recruiting but I don't follow that aspect very closely.
