Curious who will be the Bonnie's 5th starter. Gabby, Mariah, and Matea will be starting. Assuming that McKenna will be the 4th starter but have no idea who the 5th starter will be. Expect Rhianna will get serious minutes based on talent and height. Could see her developing into a Miranda type player with experience. Sarah Hart is the protypical Bonnie. Under recruited. Too small? Too slow? Just plays smart with a lot of heart. Danielle was a scoring machine in high school and AAU. Keely has a year of experience and a nice high school resume. Anyone observe any of the practices?

Anyone observe any of the practices? In the video there is one shot of what looks like the "first" team. With Gabby on the sidelines (nursing an injury): Mariah, McKenna, Matea, Sarah, and Jalisha were huddling up. My guess is that if Gabby is healthy she would replace Sarah ... so the answer to your question is Jalisha! In fact, Coach T was quoted in Feb. saying that she hoped J. would be able to compete for the starting PG position this year. She is also seen working with Mariah in the sets. Makes sense to have some experience coming off the bench with Imani. Keely didn't appear in any of the video footage, so don't know if she may have been injured or what .... I think Rhianna spells Matea and Sarah spells Gabby as a fourth perimeter player in a small lineup.

This will be quite a coaching challenge for Coach Fleming. In June I jokingly asked him how was he going to replace 70% of his scoring, I imagine as the months have passed he has a much better idea.
Lost was Katie Healy (15.3), Nyla Rueter (10.4), Miranda Drummond (12.3), Emily Michael (3.2), Kelcie Rombach (2.0), plus Erin Wood. Scoring, rebounding and leadership all lost. 6 returning players, led by Mariah Ruff at 10.0 (the new leader), Gsbby Richmond at 5.3, Matea Britvar at 3.3, then Mckenna, Imani and Keeley are the other returners. I am hoping that Mckenna is able to make a big jump, as she seemed to have difficulty adjusting to the faster paced game, but my belief is that she will be greatly improved. The freshman need to be spectacular for the season to be respectable....Jalisha Terry and Rhianna Council (what a great late addition to the roster) are my guesses who will add to the scoring column. Danielle Migliore brings a tremendous high school record, but we saw how difficult a leap it was for Mckenna last year. Sarah Hart also had a good high school career, so she will get her minutes. Sarah Young, I will wait and see, but at 6'2" she will certainly be a good replacement for Erin Wood.
I look forward tp seeing how Coach meshes this team into a coherent, defense oriented team. I think they will be fun to watch, and develop.
