I have always hoped this board was more than strictly hoops
Anyone who was on campus in that era of 1978-1981 would know this classic 4th east guy - intramurals/ Rugby/skellar/Club 17 - a Bona legend to the hilt !
Dave Munns passed away at too early an age of 58
It is with great regret that we learned that David Munns passed away. He played for SBURFC in the early 80's. Munnsy was a hard nosed player, and was the life of the party afterwards. He will be missed by all. Trip Pomeroy, Mark Fitzgerald, William Gleason, Bill Hogan, Dick Ren, John ORourke, Francis Fatigati
I am guessing posters like Bart Mitchell may chime in...

Unfortunately I was not in Dave's circle of friends, but of course I knew him. .
Everybody knew Dave - big guy with a big personality. He was well liked and respected and had many friends. I knew he was a rugby player and was a 'bouncer' at the 'skeller'. Not a guy who threw his weight around though. I remember him with a perpetual grin. Hopefully there are others of our era here who knew Dave better and can add their words.
God's peace to Dave and his family.

Senator, was your reference to Danny Monaghan, Class of 1971? Another memorable Bonnie we lost way too soon.

Danny and I were room mates and was truly my best friend! One of the all time great guys at Bona's. When I got married in '81, I did not have a Best Man - a tribute to Mons!
