Two thoughts on this subject.
In the posting story on the schedule completion on Gobonnies.com, they use the phrase "five Saturday night home games on Bob Lanier Court at Reilly Center...."
I hope that we use this phraseology always when reporting on games or giving game previews. If we do, then I think the media will adopt using this phrase when covering our home games. This will keep the buzz about Lanier alive and connected with our current day program. I can't think of a more positive slant to have.
Additionally, I would love to see the athletic department make a concerted effort to continue to publicize the court dedication with both print and television media. I would love to see a segment on Sports Center on Saturday, 10/13, about the dedication ceremony.
For all the negative news the past five years, we finally have some very postitive things to get out there.
