Schmidt said it after Eastern Michigan and last night was a perfect example. We will only be as good as our seniors play. Whatever defense Hampton used on Lee really neutralized his effectiveness. With Gary calling the game you will never know. Z is streaky and will have alot of ups and downs this year. Last night was one to forget. Tuesday night he could throw in 25. Relph had a nice first half and we need that the rest of the way. Considering the thin bench and amount we will depend on freshman, this year is going to be a real challenge. I am staying positive regardless. I see changes in the program that will benefit us for the rest of the year and years to come. 5-6 at this juncture is pretty close to what I expected. Playing 3 in a row on the road is just bonehead scheduling by you know who. There will be a lot more thought going into this program in alot of ways. I wonder if Sol will be at the Wright State game?

Wright State beat a very good Miami of Ohio team (wins over Xavier, Miss. St. and South Alabama already) last night. They are coached by Brad Brownell who led UNC-Wilmington to 2 NCAA tournaments in 4 years at the school. Wright State's 3 losses have come to quality mid major programs (Bradley, Valpo and Marist) and all were competitive games. It would be a fairly big upset if Bonas were to win this game on the road.
