This team has a chance to be very dangerous. There's a lot of athleticism and Nicholson flashed some of what he's capable of doing. He not only blocked shots, he changed quite a few. He has a chance to be very special.
If we win at Delware, who knows where that could lead us. Overall, a very positive night tonight.

WH commented on the A-10 board that he thinks Bona's will be competing for a spot in the top half of the A-10 tournament. WOOOOOOOOOO

I was at the game and can tell you the energy on the bench and chemistry between the players is better then anything I have seen in at lest 5 years. This team is going to lose plenty of games but for the first time in a while we have the talent, coaching, chemistry to win a lot of games as well. A type of team that if they can get in the A-10 tournament might actually be able to make some noise.

A 2-0 start for the first time in 5 years, I love it. Delaware is a good team from a good CAA conference, but since its at a neutral site, we should be just fine. How great would it be to start 3-0 and have all that confidence in the locker room before taking on Rutgers Sunday?

This team is going to lose plenty of games What does this even mean? How can one make that assumption? We have a completely new roster that is playing extremely well together. Guys like Matthews, Hall, Thomas, Nicholson, Eleby, and Cook are FLAT OUT strong Atlantic 10 ball players. I refuse to put ANY ceiling on this team. If we play Schmidt's game, we'll win some serious games.

For me, if we don't make the A-10 tourny I'll be stunned, but we're still building.

I'm sure he was just pointing out that we're not a 20 win team yet, which we might have to wait a year or two to get to that point. Things are turning, and this has been an awesome start, but believe it or not we're still going to lose our share of games this year.

Look the team looked great and is a legit A-10 team, but Eleby while progressing still has a lot to practice on, Blackburn is not the scorer we thought he might be or has not shown it yet. I don't want this to be a negative thread but there are still some concerns, namely point guard play and free throws and that is just things I noticed in two wins. Again very happy and Bona will definitely win more games then they have in past 6 years but to say we will win more then 15 games is a bit premature. I hope I am singing a different tune after RU and Miss State. game.

Yeah, I think this team is pretty darn good with all the athleticism and an outside scoring threat like Matthews with decent big men and a guy like Nicholson who I think is gonna be very very good. However, I think there will be struggles this year because of how new everyone is. Marist is an alright team that we made look bad and that is the first time we can say that about the Bonnies in a long time which is awesome. But I want to see a little more from this team, but definitely don't misunderstand me because I am super super excited about this group of guys. Gonna be a fun year

I am upset I missed this one but I love what I am hearing. It sounds like Nicholson is the real deal.

anybody have details on the whereabouts of Lewis Leonard or when he may return? Lew will be practicing with the team wednesday. I'm not exactly sure what the hold up was, but its been taking care of and he is cleared as of tomorrow.

Just in from a very enjoyable time at Marist. You could tell the players appreciated the Bona crowd, especially Carter & Eleby. Pleased to see a full 40 minutes of basketball from the team. There was no 2nd half lapse this time around. In fact there were really no lulls in our team defense throughout the game. Over the past 3 seasons Marist has won 87% of their home games. I wonder when they last lost at home by this margin. What impresses me the most is how well we have performed without Greese contributing as I thought he would. If he contributes as expected & LL brings in more scoring, after he gets into the flow, I will have to upgrade my win total. Can’t wait to be at the RAC on Friday & Saturday.

Lewis should be a solid scoring addition to go along with Hall & Matthews. i'm amazed at Matthews' shooting...his stroke is pure!
