Today, I am headed to Yale to watch the Lady Bonnies in action. I am taking my daughter who plays on her Middle School team.
On Tuesday, taking my son (senior in HS) to meet the Bonnies in Tarrytown, and then on Wednesday to the Fordham game. I've always enjoyed going to Rose Hill, it's like a home game, especially when their students are not there.
Will report on what I see.

great stuff fjs. Rose hill is a great place to watch a game indeed. I know over 30 bona fans that will be in attendence myself. You have to love the fact that no matter where you go a bona fan is not far away.
hope your son is strongly considering bonaventure.
go bonnies. beat everyone.

Saw my first Bonnies game at Rose Hill in 1955 or '56.
Brendan McCann was the top player on that team and the spirit the Bonnies showed in game was one of the reasons I applied to SBU in '59. Kind of a whacky reason but I have never regretted it.

Attended the game at Yale for my first time watching the Lady Bonnies in action. What a dominating performance. They mixed intense man-to-man (or is it woman-to-woman) defense, and outstanding ball movement on the offensive end. The result, a 68-35 take no prisoner game. No slacking off after a good first half....they went for the throat. With 13 minutes left in the game, we led 50-20. It was never a game. I certainly see where we can be 11-4, with possibly getting votes for Top 25.

While I'm not as "aged" as either of you I too can recall Brendan McCann! His daughter Eileen played at North Carolina and I believe she quite possibly was an All-American there. She is now a NY State Trooper. Geez, you guys are old!!!!!
