Took a ride up to Yale today to watch the Lady Bonnies and was impressed. I think they caught Yale flat after a week long trip to the other coast but some very good team defense was the real reason for the domination by the Bonnies. Don't know the stats but it appeared they shot the ball very well and had a lot of points in the key. Some of the players had a tendency to dribble into double teams but overall it was a great game for the ladies. If this team is picked to finish in the middle of the conference then I think the women's side of the A-10 is got to be pretty good.
Nice job ladies!

I was there too. I totally agree. This team plays amazing defense. Yale only made 11 field goals for the game. They are not a bad team (Yale) having lost 6 games(all close) 87-82 vs Kentucky and by 3 points to Oregon. Doneth, Mitchell and company can all play and boy do they share the ball.
A pleasure to watch. Crowley has done a great job.

At 11-4 entering A10 play, do the Lady Bonnies have a chance to win 20-games this season, advance past the 1st or 2nd round of the A10 tourney and even make a post season tournament?

At 11-4 entering A10 play, do the Lady Bonnies have a chance to win 20-games this season, advance past the 1st or 2nd round of the A10 tourney and even make a post season tournament? They played a fairly tough OOC schedule, and won against some quality teams. I think a top 3 finish in the A-10 would be needed to make, say, the WNIT. That is a bit of a tall order with some tough teams at the top in GW and Xavier but its entirely possible. This team plays with such confidence with one another both on offense and defense the sky really could be the limit in conference play.

A-10 current RPI is 7th. Here are the individual ones: RPI Rk Atlantic 10 Conf All RPI SOS Rk SOS 19 Xavier 0-0 12-4 0.6320 25 0.5878 37 Charlotte 0-0 9-4 0.5989 52 0.5590 51 Temple 0-0 8-4 0.5834 55 0.5556 58 Richmond 0-0 11-3 0.5773 121 0.5156 75 Geo. Women's team almost beat Marist (knocking on the door of the Top 25) on the road and should have beat Syracuse. With wins in those two games, I think the Bonnie women would have been in the Top 25.

agree with you analysis HNK, and just to add more that the lost to Oakland which at the time seemed catastrophic is turning out to be an ok loss because they have to be a favorite in their conference at 11-4 (3-1) and tied for first, 4 games into their conference play
